The capital of Myanmar is Naypyidaw. In 2005, It was officially designated as the capital replacing Yangon “formerly known as Rangoon”. Naypyidaw is known for its spacious layout, wide boulevards, and government buildings, but it has a relatively low population density compared to other major cities in the country.
